About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct patient care as an RN in Prep and Recovery and/or Interventional Radiology
- Provide physical care during prep, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures
- Coordinate and triage patient care
- Collaborate with clinic providers, fellows, staff, nursing teams, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and stakeholders
- Work with patient referral sources to facilitate appointments and coordinate transitions of care
- Provide patient education on complex conditions and discharge planning
- Develop and implement individualized health plans
- Collect and document patient assessment data
- Develop and evaluate patients' plans of care
- Administer medication according to standards and the Nurse Practice Act
- Verify and evaluate care for consistency with patient- and family-centered care principles, standards, and regulations
- Support integration of current evidence into nursing practice
- Participate in recruitment and retention of staff
- Facilitate development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practice standards
- Report variances in care, systems, and processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of 1-year Registered Nursing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethics and accountability
- Current BLS preferred
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
- Required documents: License or Certificate, list of three professional references, and resume
