About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse
  • Coordinate and triage patient care
  • Work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff
  • Work with patient referral sources
  • Facilitate appointments and coordinate transitions of care
  • Provide patient education on complex conditions
  • Develop and implement individual health plans with patients, families, and care providers
  • Deliver nursing care within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and institutional standards
  • Collect and document assessment data
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Plans of Care
  • Administer medications and provide drug information
  • Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
  • Act as a resource and support others
  • Delegate care according to standards, legal requirements, education, and training
  • Support clinical education and serve as a resource for student nurses and staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate's Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
  • Valid RN License
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • ICU or ED experience preferred
  • Current BLS preferred
  • ACLS certification preferred, or obtain certification within one year of starting in this role
  • Ability to be fitted for, don, and perform routine tasks in N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
  • Required pre-employment screening: Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background Check, Substance Abuse Testing
  • License or Certificate, three professional references, and resume required for application
