About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help schedule clients; answer calls professionally; take detailed messages from current and prospective SLP and AUD clients; and relay messages to the appropriate staff.
- Answer the doorbell and check in clients and visitors according to UAMS and ASP procedures.
- Cover the front desk during staff lunches, breaks, and absences.
- Record weekly client attendance in ClinicNote as directed by the clinic manager.
- Help clean and prepare clinic spaces, and copy or laminate materials as requested.
- Check assessments, treatment materials, and iPads daily to ensure they are accounted for and secured in locked storage.
- Receive, check in, organize, and restock clinic and office supplies.
- Share time between Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. Johnson based on clinic and department needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be a student in the UAMS College of Health Professions Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology.
- Resume required.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Criminal Background Check.
- Hearing.
- Manipulate items with fingers, including keyboarding.
