About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to a University-wide programme supporting implementation of the Learning and Teaching Strategy
- Support enhancement of assessment and feedback practices
- Develop evidence-informed resources and approaches
- Improve students’ understanding of assessment
- Strengthen consistency in assessment and feedback practice
- Enhance learning experiences across the University
- Work collaboratively across the project or take responsibility for discrete areas of activity aligned to project priorities
- Collaborate with students, academic staff and professional services colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, evaluate and synthesise evidence from a range of sources
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accessible materials for different audiences
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to academic and professional services staff, and students
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, academic staff and professional services colleagues
- Must be a currently matriculated PhD student at the University of Edinburgh for the duration of the internship contract
- Must be based in the UK for the duration of the 4-month internship contract
- Evidence of right to work in the UK required before employment
- Written confirmation from academic supervisor required to undertake the internship
- Employment must comply with applicable visa or funding conditions
