About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research the current student experience of course selection and enrolment
- Gather feedback from students through a variety of mechanisms
- Write up research findings
- Assist Design Leads with data-related tasks
- Turn findings into clear insights, recommendations and visuals
- Support the project team and University decision-makers in defining a future course self-enrolment service
- Work alongside the Teaching Timetabling and Course Selection Project team
- Work on campus regularly to support collaboration and engagement with colleagues
- Attend workshops or engagement sessions outside standard working hours when occasionally required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled as a taught student (e.g. UG, PGT) at the University of Edinburgh for the duration of the contract
- Must be a student based in the UK for the duration of the internship contract
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable talking and listening to other students
- Interest in improving the student experience
- Interest in understanding different student perspectives
- Ability to organise and interpret information
- Interest or experience in user research, service design, business analysis, digital services or data analysis
- Evidence of the right to work in the UK
- CV and cover letter required for application
