About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, organize, produce, and evaluate departmental program offerings
- Provide general oversight of daily program activities
- Monitor program financial performance and assist with budget planning
- Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze results, and recommend actions
- Coordinate clinical program activities across departments and staff
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders and develop collaborative partnerships
- Train, develop, and empower staff
- Develop departmental communications and promotional materials
- Prepare reports, including financial statements and management records
- Oversee radiology imaging dashboards and monitor AI algorithm performance
- Track imaging studies, run pending reports, identify delays, and expedite STAT cases
- Coordinate pending imaging reports, second opinions, addenda, and report finalization
- Run leadership and operational reports, including 90-day pending studies, mammography pending lists, OBS reports, and STAT reports
- Investigate studies over turnaround time by reviewing PACS audit trails and coordinating with radiologists and technologists
- Coordinate clinical matters and peer-to-peer consultations between radiologists and ordering providers
- Monitor AI-generated reports and support AIDOC workflows within required turnaround times
- Develop and implement policies for AI use and imaging dashboards
- Support radiology clinical operations across eight divisions
- Provide support for STAT, VIP, critical findings, phone, email, Haiku, and physician requests
- Support OCC Clinic requests at UMHC and DFB within 60-minute turnaround times
- Provide Saturday coverage and expedite OBS and STAT interpretation requests using EPIC, PACS, and PowerScribe
- Manage clinical communications, departmental email, contact directories, and Haiku messages
- Maintain 24 standard operating procedures for CPC tasks
- Open UM IT/PACS tickets and resolve imaging, MRN, report, filter, accession, and film library issues
- Maintain research databases and identify cases for research projects when applicable
- Complete professional development meetings, special projects, team huddles, assigned CBLs, and other duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations
- Experience with Epic/UChart, PACS, PowerScribe, QGenda, Performance Bridge, AIDOC algorithms, and Siemens Team Play
- Experience interacting with clinical faculty and staff
- Excel Pivot Tables proficiency
- Zoom/Teams proficiency
- Ability to give constructive input/feedback for team
- Completion of ULearn CBLs
- Access to and training on PowerScribe, Epic/UChart, Haiku, QGenda, AIDOC, mPower, PACS, PCAF, Team Play by Siemens, Performance Bridge by Philips, and new organizational applications
- Ability to work Saturday coverage 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Ability to protect sensitive patient medical records by following HIPAA protocols
