About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze donor relations activities and processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and enhancement
- Support donor-facing content processes, including donor impact reports, acknowledgments, and letters of gratitude
- Audit existing funds and maintain continuously refreshed records for endowed and term donor funds
- Support stewardship reporting, analytics, outreach, and operational efficiency across student aid, research programs, centers, professorships, and faculty support
- Gather, update, and disseminate fund information with Principal Gift, Development, and research program colleagues
- Abide by University privacy standards while supporting donor information processes
- Assess donor relations activities across giving levels and areas of the School
- Write gift acknowledgments and impact reports during peak periods and for high-volume support areas
- Keep apprised of University and industry best practices in donor relations operations
- Liaise with University colleagues on donor database and other resource and platform opportunities
- Incorporate different giving types, including principal, major, corporate, and foundation giving, into supported processes
- Contribute to a positive donor experience and a workplace environment of continuous learning and connection
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 2 to 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required
- At least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising and development processes, preferably with involvement in stewardship and donor relations
- Exceptional research, analytical, and execution skills
- Comfort analyzing data and utilizing it to inform strategy and operations
- Outstanding detail orientation and perseverance in managing long-term fund audits
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues across departments and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- High level of discretion and respect for sensitive data and donor-information safeguards
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member
- Excellent project management and strategic planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and track activities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Occasional evening and weekend work and travel required to support alumni and donor events
