About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process gifts and pledges accurately and timely for Wharton’s high-volume fundraising operation
- Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and integral gift and donor data in Salesforce
- Research discrepancies, identify resolutions, and make necessary data corrections
- Draft and coordinate gift agreements
- Support complex gifts in partnership with frontline fundraisers and internal stakeholders
- Provide service and guidance to Principal Gifts, Major Gifts, and other fundraising partners
- Address gift processing, documentation, and related administrative matters
- Interpret and apply University gift administration policies and procedures
- Resolve complex or non-routine issues
- Support efforts to strengthen gift administration processes, data quality, and operational effectiveness
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required
- Ability to manage detailed, high-volume work accurately, with organization and follow-through
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently research discrepancies, identify solutions, and resolve data or processing issues
- Excellent judgment and ability to interpret and consistently apply policies, procedures, and business rules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Service-oriented approach to colleagues and internal partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, complex environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, reliable data
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Appropriate discretion when handling sensitive donor and gift information
- Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM/database system preferred
- Background checks may be required after a conditional job offer
