Requirements
What you’ll need- Entry-to-practice degree (BScN or MN) in nursing
- PhD degree in nursing or a related discipline by the time of appointment or shortly thereafter
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching
- Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Record of publications in top-ranked and field-relevant journals or forthcoming publications meeting high international standards
- Research statement, significant conference presentations, awards and accolades, and strong referee endorsements demonstrating research excellence
- Teaching accomplishments and a teaching dossier including a teaching statement, sample course materials, and teaching evaluations or other evidence of superior teaching performance
- Experience working with, teaching, or mentoring/supervising diverse groups or diverse students
- Ability to contribute to fostering diversity on campus, within the curriculum, or in the nursing profession
- Cover letter, current curriculum vitae, research statement, recent writing sample, teaching dossier, and three references
- Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority
