Requirements
What you’ll need- Entry-to-practice degree (BScN or MN) in nursing
- PhD degree in nursing or a related area
- Clearly demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching
- Established international reputation
- Eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Sustained high-impact research contributions and publications in top-ranked, field-relevant journals
- Presentations at significant conferences
- Awards, accolades, or other activities contributing to the visibility and prominence of the discipline
- Evidence of excellence in teaching, including teaching accomplishments, teaching dossier, teaching statement, sample course materials, and teaching evaluations or other evidence of superior performance
- Experience working with, teaching, or mentoring/supervising diverse groups or diverse students
- Ability to contribute to fostering diversity on campus, within the curriculum, or in the nursing profession
- Recent reference letters from three referees
- Canadians and permanent residents given priority
