About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of academic projects
  • Provide research information, data analyses, and policy reports for strategic planning, decision-making, and resource allocation
  • Advise and provide performance management support to division leadership
  • Monitor project lifecycles, track progress, identify risks, recommend improvements, and collaborate to implement changes
  • Assist in developing strategic planning initiatives and objectives aligned with the strategic plan
  • Manage and evaluate portfolio budgets and objectives with stakeholders and leadership
  • Prepare and disseminate portfolio reports according to established policies and procedures
  • Develop, implement, and direct operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and project objectives
  • Facilitate project requests
  • Exercise supervisory authority over at least 2.0 full-time equivalent employees, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 or more years working in higher education
  • 5 or more years of experience working with and knowledge of online education
  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience
  • Proven leadership ability and project management responsibility
  • Demonstrated organizational problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Capacity to be effective in a fast-paced, results-driven division
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Master's Degree required
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, and storytelling preferred
  • Academic planning experience preferred
  • Resume and cover letter required
