About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide biostatistical insights on study teams
  • Provide independent statistical data analysis supporting Independent Data Monitoring Committees monitoring the safety of industry-sponsored clinical trials
  • Design and implement statistical methods and applicable resource materials for research projects
  • Develop research study designs
  • Contribute to preparing, writing, editing, and submitting research manuscripts, presentations, reports, grant and contract proposals, and post-award reports
  • Evaluate, prepare, analyze, and interpret existing data and sources
  • Select and apply appropriate statistical methods and prepare summarized reports
  • Advise internal and external stakeholder groups on best practices, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Conduct biostatistical analysis for internal and external stakeholder groups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in the use of SAS and SPLUS or R
  • Experience in the use of the UNIX Operating system and with the UNIX programming environment
  • Experience working with data from large, multifaceted databases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • No employer visa sponsorship available, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas
  • Must continuously be eligible to work in the United States
  • Master's Degree in biostatistics or a closely related quantitative discipline is preferred
  • Cover letter and resume required

  • Employment may require a criminal background check
