About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides guidance for program planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Supervises PEOPLE Milwaukee Precollege Advisors
- Monitors budget and funding for programming
- Promotes stable and productive relationships between the university and the community
- Expands and ensures access to programs, facilities, and educational services for diverse audiences in Wisconsin, specifically the Milwaukee area
- Advises institutional or divisional leadership on pre-college program services and student needs
- Oversees design, drafting, and scheduling of program-specific materials and resources
- Promotes and maintains internal and external partnerships
- Manages operating policies and procedures
- Develops, facilitates, and evaluates educational pre-college program content and materials
- Reports to the Milwaukee Precollege Associate Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to work some evenings and weekends
- Some supervisory/professional leadership experience
- At least one year of work experience supporting students in their educational goals
- At least one year of work experience with a college access program and/or precollege students that provide college readiness services
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Successful applicants must ensure eligibility to work in the United States
- Employment may require a criminal background check
- References may be required to answer questions regarding misconduct, including sexual violence and sexual harassment
