About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Educational Administration and Supervision program
  • Coordinate student recruitment, admissions, retention, practica, capstone activities, and degree/licensure approval for three licensure programs
  • Teach graduate-level Educational Administration courses
  • Develop curricular innovations as needed
  • Serve as administrative licensure program liaison with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and UWM School of Education Council for Professional Education
  • Coordinate programmatic records and develop required reports for the University and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
  • Serve as a core faculty member
  • Attend department and program-related functions, including faculty meetings
  • Engage in the Department of Educational Psychology & Leadership and the School of Education

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hold an MS, MA, or MSED or higher degree in Educational Administration, Administrative Leadership, or a closely-related field from an accredited higher education institution by the time of application
  • Ability to teach college-level courses in educational administration
  • Familiarity with high impact practices for teaching online courses
  • Prior K-12 teaching and/or administrative experience in K-12 settings
  • Criminal background check required
  • Verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States at the start date
  • Complete required employment eligibility verification upon hire
  • Provide a cover letter and detailed CV/resume
  • Finalists must provide three professional/supervisor references
