About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of early-stage startups participating in The Foundry
  • Advise founders on priorities, milestones, growth, and enterprise readiness
  • Understand each startup’s business model, product, customer needs, and growth challenges
  • Provide guidance and coaching to strengthen startup offerings and strategy
  • Connect startups with subject matter experts, mentors, advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitive research
  • Facilitate portfolio reviews and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Partner with internal teams to help startups understand strategy, demand, and enterprise requirements
  • Track startup milestones, risks, growth opportunities, and enterprise readiness through a structured portfolio management framework
  • Support startup sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3–5 years of experience in startups, consulting, venture programs, accelerator/incubator environments, innovation, product strategy, business development, or related fields
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and problem-solving orientation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think and act strategically and tactically
  • Self-motivated and consultative nature
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade internal and external partners
  • Comfort working with stakeholders across varied levels of seniority
  • Strong relationship management and conflict management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Positive, professional company image when interacting with external customers
