About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Colonial Life’s enrollment technology strategies through implementation, support, and service at the system and case level
- Partner with business areas and customers on case implementation, case management, and issue resolution
- Serve as an enrollment technology resource and point of contact for internal and external business partners during implementations
- Manage multiple high-profile, high-risk, complex case-level enrollment technologies
- Consult and provide technical support for enrollment technology strategies
- Prevent, identify, and correct case-level third-party enrollment technology escalations in partnership with IT
- Update departmental tracking and reporting systems
- Anticipate the needs of third-party enrollment technology vendors
- Develop methods for effective data exchange for large, complex enrollment files
- Represent the team on cross-functional projects and initiatives as a subject matter expert
- Support enrollment technology strategies, system enhancements, testing, and problem solving to improve customer experience and team effectiveness
- Meet or exceed departmental and organizational goals and metrics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ experience in project management, enrollment systems, IT, or other related work experience required
- Experience leading projects or initiatives with demonstrated strength in planning, organizing, and time management
- Strong collaboration, partnering, team building, customer service, and relationship building skills with internal/external business partners
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint highly preferred; Projects and Visio a plus
- Solid planning, organizing, and time management skills
- Ability to track and manage large volumes of work and concurrent issues with timely escalation and detailed documentation
- Subject matter expertise across third party enrollment technology platforms, products, services, processes, sales process, and field organization specific to Colonial Life
- Strong conceptual understanding of basic design, code, and testing following IT standards preferred
- Advanced working knowledge of data manipulation and relational databases through relevant tools and applications highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while contributing to a team environment
- Proven track record of accountability for delivering quality results based on organizational and departmental quality measures
- Desire to expand technical knowledge and learn new tools
- Ability to reinforce core values supporting successful employee, team, and business results
