Assistant Professor – Emergency Medicine

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical services at UofL Health’s Jewish Hospital and South Hospital
- Assess clients’ physical status through interviews, health histories, and physical examinations in inpatient and outpatient services
- Formulate treatment plans and follow-ups for health problems
- Write prescriptions for medications, blood tests, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, and therapeutic measures
- Evaluate quality of care and recommend improvements
- Share clinical expertise with personnel
- Document and report care accurately and promptly
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Emergency medicine residency-trained physician
- Board certified, or board eligible/ABEM/ABOEM
- Medical Doctorate degree
- Physician license for state of Kentucky
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
