About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the end-to-end franchisee integration and store build-out lifecycle across a 9–12-month project process
  • Coordinate design activities to ensure layout plans align with brand standards and local regulations
  • Partner with C&W to monitor construction progress, validate timelines, and track milestones
  • Support procurement, delivery, and installation of fixtures, equipment, signage, and technology components
  • Oversee pre-opening readiness items including franchisee training, initial inventory, and operational setup
  • Manage franchisee onboarding schedules and coordinate deliverables across Sales, Training, Technology, and Compliance
  • Track franchisee progress using internal project management tools and checkpoints
  • Serve as a point of contact for franchisees, internal teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Design & Construction, Operations, Compliance, Training, and IT teams
  • Maintain project trackers, milestones, deadlines, deliverables, statuses, ownership, and risk logs
  • Manage document version control and accessibility of project artifacts
  • Prepare dashboards and reports on project health and progress for leadership
  • Lead project check-ins, stakeholder meetings, and milestone reviews
  • Provide updates on project status, risks, and next steps
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues
  • Confirm departmental signoffs before center opening
  • Facilitate handoff from build-out to Retail Operations
  • Support grand opening or re-opening planning and execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction coordination, or project administration
  • Experience supporting franchise development efforts, franchise operations, and multi-unit expansion projects
  • Knowledge of project coordination principles, workflows, and best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, meetings, and project activities across cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of project documentation, including schedules and reports
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and risks, and escalate issues as needed
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining project records and documentation
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and construction-focused project requirements
  • Understanding of franchise or multi-unit development processes, compliance, and brand standards
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting, invoicing, and project cost tracking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Willingness and ability to travel to NC, SC, and GA and visit centers
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, lawful permanent resident, or alien authorized to work in the U.S.
