About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide package handling, inventory control, and shipping services to customers
Utilize Material Handling Equipment for warehouse operations
Perform warehouse activities using RF scanners and the warehouse management system
Execute outbound and inbound processes and inventory control
Ensure transaction accuracy and safety and quality compliance
Perform hands-on work related to core UPS business operations
Follow established processes and procedures efficiently and safely
Complete a range of tasks with limited supervision
Provide guidance to less experienced workers
Support delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers
Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal support groups
Support facility activities including government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, order processing, supplier procurement, inventory, staffing, inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, and profitability
Perform financial activities including forecasting, allocations, adjustments, and annual business planning
Retain and strengthen customer relationships, including face-to-face customer service
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities
Support field stocking locations, agent locations across multiple geographies, and the provider network

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to utilize Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order pickers up to heights of 28 feet
Ability to utilize radio frequency (RF) scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities
Ability to perform tasks using defined job processes with a high level of accuracy and minimal supervision
Ability to utilize a computer-based warehouse management system (WMS) for outbound process, inbound process, and inventory control
Ensure transaction accuracy and safety and quality compliance
Legal right to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of a background check
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
