About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet everyone entering the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone from patients and physician offices
  • Verify insurance coverage for patients
  • Collect patient payments and all money due at the time of service
  • Convert referrals into evaluations
  • Schedule patient visits
  • Create an inviting clinic atmosphere
  • Make welcome calls and monitor arrival rates through customer experience
  • Manage schedules, document routing, overtime, non-clinical documentation, deposits, caseload and insurance reporting
  • Monitor clinic inventory
  • Attend required training and complete quarterly compliance training
  • Collaborate with the Clinic Director to carry out efficient clinic procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership
  • Ability to multitask, maintain organizational detail, meet deadlines, and work with little to no supervision
  • Efficient time management and presentation skills
  • Minimum expectation of 40 hours per week
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and frequently use a computer and office equipment
  • Ability to communicate accurately, comprehend information, and use judgment appropriately
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull 0–20 lbs.
