About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, develop, execute, and oversee annual admissions plans for international student recruitment, qualification, assessment, and admission
- Manage planning, execution, and evaluation of international undergraduate admissions programming
- Build relationships with campus partners, prospective students, families, counselors, and community-based organizations
- Engage current students and student organizations in admissions initiatives
- Analyze enrollment and participation data to inform programming and recruitment strategies
- Maintain accurate admissions messaging and related web content with academic partners
- Lead international-facing digital admissions outreach and oversee international social media channels
- Conduct market and territory research and complete approximately 8–12 weeks of international recruitment travel annually
- Build relationships with school counselors, educational consultants, and partner organizations
- Lead admissions processes for specialized and dual-admission programs
- Review and evaluate high volumes of domestic and international undergraduate applications
- Serve on admissions committees and make final admission decision recommendations when assessments differ
- Review international financial documentation and recommend merit scholarship consideration
- Prepare and deliver information sessions, webinars, workshops, and targeted programming
- Conduct admissions interviews and complete formal interview write-ups
- Answer telephone and email inquiries throughout the admissions cycle
- Lead training on international application review practices
- Recruit, hire, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3 years of admissions experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Work in a related field such as higher education, college admissions, or school counseling required
- Frequent weekend and evening assignments required
- Microsoft Suite of Products or equivalent required
- Data analysis required
- Valid driver’s license recognized by the State
- Ability to travel by air, rail, and/or water, potentially internationally
- Cover letter required
