About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support forecasting, annual planning, and period-end reporting for Merchandising Finance
- Serve as the lead FP&A business partner for Culinary Equipment and Supplies (CES)
- Own CES reporting, decks, annual planning, forecasting, and recurring financial deliverables
- Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, explain variances, and develop actionable insights and recommendations
- Partner with Merchandising and Finance stakeholders to understand business performance and support key decisions
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate business initiatives, margin opportunities, and strategic questions
- Prepare executive-ready reporting and presentations communicating performance, key drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Support cross-functional and ad hoc analyses related to merchandising strategy, pricing, vendor economics, gross margin, customer initiatives, and emerging business priorities
- Improve and automate financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools through Excel, data visualization, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant finance, FP&A, accounting, or analytics experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance drivers
- Ability to communicate financial concepts and analytical findings clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ownership, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and levels of the organization
- Deep understanding of key financial and operational drivers within a commercial environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field (required)
