About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the company’s social media efforts and continually elevate and refine social media strategy
Develop, create and execute social media strategy conveying a consistent brand voice and positioning the company as an industry leader
Manage day-to-day activities, organic and paid social campaigns, media budgets and external agency relationships
Serve as community manager for official social media channels and respond to comments and questions
Educate and train employees to become better social media stewards and brand advocates
Implement and execute an editorial calendar and publish digital content supporting social channels and digital marketing efforts
Conduct social listening and monitor conversations about the company, brands, competitors and industry
Share insights from social media monitoring with respective owners
Work cross-functionally to identify company news for social media engagement and train internal teams as digital brand advocates
Serve as resident social media expert and monitor B2B social media strategies, tools, trends and applications
Work with creative and IT teams to keep social media tools up to date
Identify KPIs, establish success metrics and create regular reporting to measure strategy, campaign and channel effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field required
Minimum 5 years of digital marketing and social media experience preferred
Strong and demonstrated knowledge of using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to promote brands
Proven experience with social media monitoring, listening and analytics tools
Familiarity with developing and executing compelling content tailored for digital mediums
Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite are obligatory
Ability to manage information from disparate sources and provide proactive, timely solutions
Positive attitude, outgoing personality, collaborative and adaptable approach, and willingness to take initiative
