About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end users by phone, email, and ticketing system for PCs, mobile devices, phones, and printers
- Serve as an escalation point for Help Desk Analysts
- Handle user administration in Active Directory, VPN, Microsoft 365, and Exchange
- Configure and deploy PC and Mac laptops for new hires
- Manage cell phone plans and devices
- Guide new employees through core IT systems
- Collaborate with System Administrators to escalate technical issues and support enterprise applications
- Manage inventory, receive shipments, and maintain the asset tracking system
- Support employees in an office or home office environment
- Ensure actions comply with information security policies and applicable regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years experience in desktop configuration and support of MS applications
- Experience with Windows, Office, Outlook, anti-virus software, PC backup software, and vendor-supplied applications and tools
- Experience with desktop imaging, inventory, and reporting tools
- Experience supporting file servers and printers in a Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure
- Understanding of networking/security technologies, including Ethernet, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN
- Associate degree or 2+ years professional experience in Information Security or Computer Science
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must comply with US Signal information security policies and state and federal regulations
- Occasional ability to lift items up to 25 pounds
