About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead discussions with key stakeholders to communicate analytical findings and influence business decisions
  • Provide input into line-of-business strategy development and integrate analytic and business strategy
  • Identify business assumptions and hypotheses and refine them to determine further business questions
  • Develop analytical frameworks and blueprints to answer business questions across business portfolios, products, and member experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover strategic insights related to Profit & Loss performance, Product Strategy, Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Credit Risk, Distribution Channels, and Member Experience
  • Define outcome measures, improve prioritization and decision agility, evaluate progress toward business outcomes, and assess risks to strategic goals
  • Drive strategic agreement using subject matter expertise, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
  • Serve as a team lead and provide guidance and on-the-job training to team members
  • Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 8 years of data and/or analytics or strategy consulting experience; OR 6 years of data and/or analytics or strategy consulting experience plus up to 2 years of progressive functional business relevant experience; OR an Advanced Degree in Business, Science, Finance, Economics or related discipline and 6 years of experience
  • Experience identifying business needs and developing strategic plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights
  • Experience working with leadership teams to identify key opportunities to develop and enhance business strategy using quantitative and qualitative analytics
  • Experience influencing business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using hypotheses-driven problem solving
  • Extensive experience leading and performing complex data analysis using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Snowflake, SAS, and Adobe Analytics

  • Prior U.S. military service or being a military spouse/domestic partner is highly valued
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives
  • Proven ability to influence across a complex organization and deliver results without direct authority

  • Proven success leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
