About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive development and coordination of components within the overarching strategy for the function
  • Work with executive management to establish strategic and operational frameworks enabling short- and long-term business goals and key results
  • Develop processes to manage business strategic and operational planning
  • Align business processes and frameworks with enterprise strategy, processes and frameworks
  • Partner with senior leaders across functions and channels to develop near- and long-term visions and roadmaps
  • Help business leaders manage the transition from strategy to execution
  • Integrate change management plans, project documentation and strategies for large, complex business-specific initiatives
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses and establish best practices and management routines to address operational gaps
  • Guide team members performing research and analysis
  • Lead design, coordination and governance of annual strategic and operational planning processes
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional team members in strategy and operational plan development and implementation
  • Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored and controlled according to risk and compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct business strategy reviews to assess progress, identify emerging needs, and drive accountability for strategy achievement
  • Provide support and guidance to executive management for business strategy and priority decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 8 years of directly related business planning consultation experience, including developing business strategy for short-term and/or long-term goals
  • Experience influencing and managing communication to senior executives and internal colleagues through concise, official and regular updates on status, progress, strategies and roadmaps
  • Extensive experience in Project Management
  • Strong business acumen in financial services or related industry
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation skills
  • Experience working with clients/customers to identify business issues and develop business direction strategies from gathered insights
  • Previous experience working in a chief of staff position
  • Previous program management experience
  • Demonstrated executive presence and judgment
  • Ability to serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders and navigate complex executive-level discussions
  • Ability to translate priorities into clear direction and action
  • Ability to synthesize complex information, navigate ambiguity, and create clarity and strategic direction across competing priorities
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to align senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, including executive-level writing, strategic storytelling, synthesis, and presentation development
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
