About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive development and coordination of components within the overarching strategy for the Function
  • Work with executive management to establish strategic and operational frameworks supporting short- and long-term business goals and key results
  • Develop processes to manage business strategic and operational planning
  • Align business processes and frameworks to enterprise strategy, processes, and frameworks
  • Partner with senior-level leaders across functions and channels to develop near- and long-term visions and roadmaps
  • Work with business leaders to manage transition from strategy to execution
  • Integrate change management plans, project documentation, and strategies for large, complex business-specific initiatives
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses and evaluate operational effectiveness by establishing best practices and management routines
  • Guide team members performing research and analysis
  • Support executive leadership by leading design, coordination, and governance of annual strategic and operational planning processes
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional team members in strategy and operational plan development and implementation
  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 8 years of directly related business planning consultation experience, including developing business strategy for short-term and/or long-term goals
  • Experience influencing and managing communication to senior executives and internal colleagues through concise, official and regular updates on status, progress, strategies and roadmaps
  • Extensive experience in Project Management
  • Strong business acumen in financial services or related industry
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation skills
  • Experience working with clients/customers to realize business issues and develop a strategy for the business's direction from gathered insights
  • Prior experience working within an IT organization, preferably one focused on technology risk
  • Familiarity with technology-related processes and terminology
  • Expertise utilizing collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with pivot tables, resource budget management, and creating executive-level presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
  • Ability to prepare materials for regulatory and financial audiences
  • Strong executive presence
  • Experience coordinating project deliverables with key team members, managing a book of work, and ensuring clear and consistent communication across teams
  • US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
