About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the team under direct supervision and guidance from senior engineers and an assigned mentor
- Design, develop, and deploy Large Learning Models for production environments
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLMs and generative AI applications
- Contribute to AI workflows, agentic AI solutions, and prompt orchestration to automate business processes
- Partner with business leaders to translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions
- Evaluate AI outputs, measure quality, and continuously refine prompt performance
- Design and enforce prompt guardrails to ensure compliant solutions
- Research emerging AI models, prompting techniques, and agent frameworks
- Participate in professional development opportunities, networking events, mentorship programs, and team-based projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and planning to graduate after the final day of the internship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and May 2028
- Foundational understanding of Python
- Foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Foundational understanding of Prompt Engineering
- Foundational understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership through coursework, projects, student organizations, employment, or community involvement

- Experience building production AI or machine learning applications
- AI Fluency
- Experience integrating AI into enterprise systems
