About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute national and regional civic engagement strategies through complex, highly visible programs
- Develop initiatives involving third-party alliances and key internal stakeholders
- Contribute to Corporate Impact team goals and objectives
- Define strategy-area Logic Models, Outcomes, and Key Results
- Oversee philanthropic grantmaking in alignment with policies and standards
- Develop Memorandums of Understanding with defined KPIs
- Manage nonprofit alliance relationships and philanthropic investment portfolios
- Assess programs, grants, and nonprofit activities for due diligence and minimum requirements
- Develop metrics and standards to evaluate investment and operational impact
- Convene alliances to discuss needs, KPIs, impact, and collaboration opportunities
- Conduct and integrate research in Corporate Impact focus areas
- Collaborate with survey firms on research strategies
- Cultivate relationships with local, national, community, and nonprofit organizations
- Coordinate enterprise-wide communications and use technology and social media to strengthen engagement
- Manage assigned budgets and resources
- Lead and revise Corporate Impact policies and governance processes
- Lead process-improvement initiatives and manage risk and compliance
- Lead after-action reviews and apply lessons for continuous improvement
- Contribute to external reporting and provide subject-matter expertise for communications and impact storytelling
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, Public Relations, Communications, Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related field; OR 4 years of related experience in addition to the minimum experience may substitute for the degree
- 8 years of experience in business development, product development, business operations, or philanthropic leadership
- Experience leading complex assignments to highly successful and sustainable outcomes
- Track record of translating organizational vision to reality, business acumen, and process excellence
- Experience managing third-party relationships accountable for results and high-quality outcomes
- Experience developing and delivering detail-oriented communications to senior leadership
- Extensive experience applying transformation and change management skills in corporate responsibility initiatives
- Track record contributing to Corporate Impact reporting and corporate citizenship storytelling/cause marketing
- Excellent writing, public speaking, and facilitation skills
- Required travel up to 25%
