Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute data-driven audience strategies for marketing campaigns using SQL, Python, Salesforce, and Customer Data Platform tools
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Build and validate target audiences
  • Write and document code and requirements
  • Identify emerging risks, performance gaps, customer behavior shifts, operational friction points, and growth opportunities
  • Apply statistical, predictive, profitability, portfolio, scientific, and quantitative analytics methodologies
  • Develop recommendations supporting business performance and profitable growth
  • Analyze ambiguous business challenges to identify root causes, trends, and performance drivers
  • Create business cases and recommendations balancing business needs, risk, operational impacts, and profitability
  • Prepare peer-review-ready communication materials using data visualization and storytelling
  • Document assumptions, methodologies, testing approaches, validation results, implementation requirements, and performance monitoring processes
  • Partner with business, risk, technology, operations, and control stakeholders to implement recommendations, define success metrics, monitor performance, and optimize outcomes
  • Use new analytical approaches, data assets, AI-enabled solutions, and decision science techniques
  • Support portfolio growth, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks according to policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or a business or quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ data & analytics experience or functional business relevant experience within the Banking industry OR advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field and 2 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the Banking industry
  • Intermediate and some advanced experience applying statistical, predictive, profitability, and portfolio analytics
  • Competency framing business problems, developing testable hypotheses, evaluating tradeoffs, and converting analysis into strategic recommendations
  • Experience integrating, transforming, validating, and analyzing internal and external data sources
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools, data visualization, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data and methods
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or similar coding languages to query, analyze, and manipulate large datasets
  • Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining business and technical requirements
  • Experience building and managing audience segments within Customer Data Platforms, Salesforce, Adobe, or similar marketing technology environments
  • Ability to partner with Marketing, Technology, Architecture, Governance, and Operations teams
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks
  • Ability to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance
  • Experience supporting marketing campaign execution, including target audience identification, inclusion/exclusion criteria, validation, and alignment with business objectives
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end marketing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
