About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement multiple Data and Analytics sub-functions within a Function or Line of Business
- Lead short-term and long-term strategy and vision for assigned sub-functions, aligning objectives with enterprise strategies
- Lead strategic, tactical, operational and financial responsibilities for data storage, preparation, exploration, information governance, analytics and information delivery
- Oversee delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions to business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Manage the end-to-end process of information management, analytics and delivery
- Evaluate and integrate industry trends and best practices into processes, technology and strategic plans
- Provide thought leadership on data, information and application architecture decisions
- Lead data reporting, identify reporting opportunities and analytics projects, retire reports and promote advanced self-service capabilities
- Provide strategic insights to senior leaders and key stakeholders
- Set analytic direction and create strategies that influence business and drive change
- Oversee innovation, work prioritization and capacity; assist with problem resolution
- Oversee information delivery experience and risks
- Identify opportunities to use advanced data delivery and business solution techniques to resolve business issues
- Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored and controlled according to risk and compliance policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 8 years data and analytics related experience, generating results in a complex financial services organization
- 3 years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams
- Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals
- Strong business acumen in measuring business outcomes, business operations, industry practices and emerging trends
- Experience leading projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience conducting moderately large scale data analysis using internal and external data to support business decision making
- Proven ability to tell a story through data and communicate effectively with executive level leadership

- Experience analyzing customer interactions annually across business lines and channels
- Proven delivery of initiatives resulting in measurable improvements in customer experience, operational efficiency, or complaint reduction
- Strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, Streamlit, Tableau, and business intelligence tools supporting enterprise-scale analytics
- Experience leveraging process mining, journey analytics, or AI/ML solutions to identify friction and improve customer experiences
