About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategic, tactical, operational, and financial responsibilities for data storage, preparation, exploration, information governance, analytics, and information delivery
  • Oversee subfunction strategy for delivering information and analytics platforms and solutions to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Manage the end-to-end process of information management, analytics, and delivery
  • Evaluate and integrate industry trends and best practices into processes, technology, and strategic plans
  • Provide thought leadership and systems thinking for data, information, and application architecture decisions
  • Lead data reporting, identify reporting opportunities, deliver analytics and complex projects, retire reports, and promote advanced self-service capabilities
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Set analytic direction and execute strategies that influence business and drive change
  • Oversee innovation, prioritize work, manage capacity, and assist with problem resolution
  • Oversee information delivery experience and risks, ensuring understanding of business processes, supporting data and applications, and findings and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to use advanced data delivery and business solution techniques to resolve business issues
  • Ensure business activity risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 8 years data and analytics related experience, generating results in a complex financial services organization
  • 3 years of people leadership experience in building, managing and/or developing high-performing teams
  • Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing work to achieve strategic goals
  • Strong business acumen in measuring business outcomes, business operations, industry practices and emerging trends
  • Experience leading projects using Agile methodologies
  • Experience conducting moderately large scale data analysis using internal and external data to support business decision making
  • Proven ability to tell a story through data and communicate effectively with executive level leadership
  • Experience leading teams responsible for defining business requirements, project scope, use cases, acceptance criteria, delivery roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for complex data and technology initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of P&C digital and contact center operations, including transactional, behavioral, operational, and performance data
  • Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including technology, architecture, product management, operations, data engineering, analytics, and risk teams
  • Experience developing or prototyping new analytical capabilities, data sources, or tools and transitioning successful concepts into scalable, sustainable solutions
  • Experience applying generative AI, coding assistants, analytical agents, or automation tools such as GitHub Copilot
  • US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
