Key responsibilities & impact

Direct, plan, and organize professional and administrative staff providing IT services for public cloud enablement
Provide technical leadership in planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining business solutions
Provide high-level consultation and influence on technical solutions and emerging technologies
Lead and direct change management, process improvement, and technical support initiatives
Contribute to and execute long- and short-term strategic direction
Advise senior management and provide input for decision-making
Develop, maintain, test, and monitor internal control environments
Build and oversee the Public Cloud Enablement team through recruiting, development, retention, coaching, support, performance management, and managerial activities
Oversee AWS Lambda and DevOps environments and assist with public cloud program management
Build governance and risk management strategies for Lambda, including new certificate capabilities
Establish documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies
Identify, research, and analyze end-to-end business, process, and technology support opportunities
Develop and oversee technology support metrics, including KPIs and KRIs
Create multi-year technology support plans with milestones, deliverables, and realization targets
Oversee departmental budgets and forecasts
Oversee availability management using change and incident management practices
Influence business strategy and technology support direction across functional areas
Build stakeholder relationships and ensure cost-effective technology support delivery
Participate in third-party vendor strategy and oversee vendor management activities
Identify, measure, monitor, and control business risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
8 years of experience in a technology function in a Software Development/Engineering or Infrastructure environment
3 years of direct team lead or management experience of IT professionals
Experience enabling public cloud capabilities in AWS Lambda environments
Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, and similar continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure
Understanding of the full Software Development Cycle
Experience overseeing the technology life cycle from requirements analysis through support
Technical knowledge of domains within Infrastructure Services, Data, or Application Development
Experience conducting cost-benefit analyses
Experience managing multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments
Experience driving quality and personal accountability through technology support teams
Experience in vendor contract management and management of distributed development teams and resources
Financial acumen involving budgets and forecasting
Advanced facilitation, collaboration, and consensus-building skills
Experience presenting to cross-functional teams and Senior/Executive leaders
Experience inspiring, leading, and defining vision, strategy, and organizational change
Experience explaining complex technology decisions to technical and nontechnical audiences
Ability to influence change at executive and team levels
Understanding of COBIT, ITIL, SAFe, or similar industry frameworks
Understanding of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements
