Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, develop, and motivate the team to provide advanced analytics and insights around key business drivers
Tackle complex and unique business problems with proactive, forward-looking financial solutions
Interact with senior management as a trusted advisor on financial issues
Recommend solutions to short-term and strategic financial business problems
Teach and mentor others on complex financial processes, business drivers, and systems
Review analysts' work and assist management with task assignment and workflow management
Lead initiatives to develop integrated enterprise planning processes across multiple companies and/or staff agency processes and technologies
Direct analyses and guide the development, enhancement, and implementation of critical processes, programs, and technologies
Lead cross-functional teams through problem resolution and advise senior management
Acquire and apply expert knowledge of the business, products, and processes
Perform complex and unique work assignments and problem resolution across multiple systems, functions, or processes
Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
8 years of experience conducting complex analysis and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders
Experience using databases and applications to analyze complex business domains, including AI and GenAI
Experience communicating key business and financial concepts that result in strategic decision making
US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
Financial experience supporting technology
Experience submitting monthly accruals
Experience with monthly variance commentary
Advanced experience working in Apptio, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle
Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
