About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Explore how large-scale technology environments are monitored, maintained, secured, and optimized
- Support infrastructure operations under direct supervision and guidance from senior engineers and a mentor
- Attend team meetings
- Assist in analyzing potential threats or vulnerabilities across systems
- Learn to design scalable infrastructure and implement system changes

Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and planning to graduate after the final day of the internship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Graduation date between September 2027 and May 2028; graduation date cannot be prior to August 6, 2027
- Foundational understanding of Java or object-oriented programming concepts
- Foundational understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Foundational understanding of software development fundamentals
- Foundational understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Basic scripting skills to solve technical problems and reduce manual effort
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership through coursework, projects, student organizations, employment, or community involvement
- Exposure to PowerShell, Python, Ansible, infrastructure as code (IaC), network automation, or other scripting languages
- Exposure to Arista/Cisco
- Familiarity with APIs and system integrations
- Exposure to Azure or other cloud technologies
- Understanding of IT service management concepts or ServiceNow
- Experience with coursework, projects, labs, or hackathons involving technology solutions
- Interest in automation, infrastructure operations, and cloud engineering
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies and collaboration tools
- Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
