About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete formal training, hands-on experience, and mentorship to develop auto bodily injury claims expertise
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto bodily injury claims
  • Deliver a high level of member service
  • Communicate with members, claimants, attorneys, and third parties to gather facts and provide updates
  • Analyze coverage, assess liability, and evaluate damages including medical injuries
  • Review and interpret medical records, police reports, and other claim documentation
  • Establish and manage claim reserves within authority guidelines
  • Develop and execute claim strategies for timely and fair resolution
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants within authority levels
  • Identify potential fraud and escalate concerns to appropriate teams
  • Maintain accurate and compliant claim file documentation
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support claim resolution
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities according to risk and compliance policies and procedures
  • Transition to a hybrid schedule after successful completion of the apprenticeship program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026, or completed a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused mindset with empathy and professionalism
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required insurance adjuster license
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm
  • Must be able to work full-time, in-office (5 days per week) during training
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Licensed positions require a background check, including criminal history, education, employment verification, and a credit check
  • Relocation assistance is not available
