About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Formulate product and sales strategy recommendations based on profitability, competitiveness, and sales performance across the product life cycle
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations or decisions regarding sales and product performance
  • Define business questions and provide insights to improve business performance
  • Support maintenance of existing products and lead development and launch of less complex new products with channel partners
  • Gather analytics, competitive intelligence, and member information to support product strategy
  • Develop product strategy recommendations
  • Develop recommendations for launching new products or sales strategies and evaluate buy/build/partner decisions
  • Act as product subject-matter expert on features and services and collaborate with business partners
  • Partner with phone and digital teams on sales guides and education for products and services, including new offerings and enhancements
  • Identify and evaluate potential providers for alliance relationships
  • Support development, editing, and distribution of product communications
  • Research external market trends, design changes, financials, member information, and transaction data
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to ensure compliant product offerings
  • Interpret performance results to inform product or sales forecasting and planning
  • Ensure risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing or Sales/Service or Finance/Accounting Operations or Financial Services
  • 2 years of product management, or similar strategic management experience
  • 1 year of Data Visualization experience (i.e. Tableau)
  • Advanced experience in creating product briefings
  • Experience in market research to create product roadmap, make product decisions and iterate rapidly
  • Knowledge of applicable product related regulations, and risk and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations including FFIEC- Retail Payment Systems Handbook, Payment Rules (NACHA, Zelle, etc.), Reg CC, Reg E, and Reg DD
  • Bank or Financial Services Payment Operations and Money Movement Product experience
  • Ability to understand and explain end-to-end payment flows and the member journey from transaction initiation to reconciliation
  • Ability to manage a product from ideation through launch, iteration, and eventual sunsetting
  • Product Governance experience
  • 2+ years of Data analysis experience in clearly communicating data driven decisions
  • Knowledge of industry trends and standards in the payments area
  • Experience with emerging payment types, such as stablecoin, tokenized deposits, and agentic payments
  • Accredited ACH Professional and National Check Professional accreditations are preferred
  • US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
