About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support member retention strategies across the bank and other lines of business
  • Formulate product, pricing, and sales strategy recommendations based on profitability, competitiveness, and sales performance
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations or decisions
  • Define business questions and provide insights to improve business performance
  • Support maintenance of existing products and/or lead development and launch of less complex new products with channel partners
  • Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to Bank priorities and member needs
  • Interpret performance results to inform product or sales forecasting and planning
  • Act as product subject matter expert on features and services and collaborate with business partners
  • Analyze and evaluate product performance to recommend enhancements and lead efforts to expand or change existing features
  • Partner with operations, phone, and digital teams to provide product training and education
  • Conduct research on external market trends, design changes, financials, member information, and transaction data
  • Support development, editing, and distribution of product communications
  • Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to ensure compliant product offerings
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control business risks in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Statistics; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Sales and Service, Finance/Accounting Operations or Financial or military Services
  • 2 years of product management, or similar strategic or data management experience
  • Experience leveraging data visualization tools and providing requirements to data teams (i.e., Tableau)
  • Experience creating product briefings and presenting to executive leadership
  • Experience in market research to create product roadmap, make product decisions and iterate rapidly
  • Knowledge of applicable Banking-industry laws, regulations, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with customer/member retention strategies, ideally in a financial services industry
  • Experience pulling data and creating reporting to inform strategy and product recommendations
  • Experience working cross functionally across multiple teams and lines of business (Bank, P&C, Life)
  • Experience leading organizational change initiatives and building stakeholder buy-in for new approaches, processes, or solutions
  • US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
