About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide risk management support for a line of business or staff agency
Identify, measure, aggregate, understand, and manage key risks through quantitative and analytical practices
Monitor the risk and control environment and consult on risk mitigation plans
Apply advanced analytics to assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness
Translate analytical results into solutions that enhance decision making
Engage in model validation and produce model validation reports
Apply scientific and quantitative analytical approaches to answer business objectives and drive change
Translate recommendations into communication materials for peer review and management
Produce advanced analytical material for cross-functional discussions and solution strategies
Mentor team members in the peer review process
Produce reports and data visualizations for Executive Leadership and Boards
Ensure business activity risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, or quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
6 years related quantitative analysis experience, or advanced degree/designation plus 4 years relevant quantitative work experience, or PhD plus up to 2 years relevant quantitative work experience
4 years experience working with complex analytical tools and data
Experience producing and presenting research data related to key business activities
Experience effectively participating in and leading cross-functional team discussions related to risk management
Experience providing guidance to team members related to research and data peer reviews
Regulated-industry experience
Advanced analytics, risk, AI governance, controls, compliance, model risk, or data governance experience
Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance discussions and influence senior stakeholders
Ability to translate complex AI and risk topics into clear recommendations
US military experience through service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship
