About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently develop and execute advanced audit analytics for complex business and control questions
  • Apply data-driven continuous auditing on business audits for the Audit Services team
  • Participate in and make recommendations for ideation and development of analytic control tests
  • Participate in execution of audit analytics, analytic methodology, and adoption of analytic approaches
  • Partner with audit teams to understand data behind key processes, risks, and controls and develop analytic control tests
  • Analyze and interpret results clearly and concisely
  • Track and monitor progress against analytic control tests and projects and escalate results to Audit leadership
  • Prepare presentations communicating audit data analytics results and make recommendations to Audit teams and leadership
  • Develop data literacy skills through ongoing professional development
  • Champion execution of data analytics strategy and transformation
  • Collaborate across Audit, business, data, and technology teams
  • Contribute to continuous auditing, automation, and modernization of Audit Analytics practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or quantitative field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 4 years experience with analytic coding techniques and visualization tools
  • 2 years experience in SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, RPA, Power BI or other data analysis tools
  • 2 years’ experience working on data and analytics in an audit, risk, or controls environment
  • 1 year experience creating reporting dashboards and summarizing actionable results
  • Experience developing data technology specific to auditing activities
  • Ability to break down complex problems using data analysis, process knowledge and risk/control knowledge, and communicate data analysis, issues and control recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within and across teams, drive business results, employ creative thinking, and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of audit, control, regulatory, or risk management requirements
  • Working knowledge of financial services and/or insurance business processes
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT Training Plans
