About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and manage existing and emerging risks stemming from business activities and the job role
Ensure risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
Follow written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures
Lead and participate in gathering complex business requirements by partnering with customers to define business problems and data needs
Lead development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, including data visualization, data transformation, or data collection
Work with IT execution teams on analytic infrastructures, data engineering, and related business intelligence efforts
Collaborate on technical standards and governance practices
Apply data visualization best practices and identify and interpret trends or patterns
Optimize prototyping, usability, and end-user experience for dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses
Advise stakeholders and end users on data visualization to drive business value
Influence data, information, and application architecture decisions through systems thinking
Serve as an Agile champion responsible for methodology, execution, and team education on best practices
Provide internal team leadership and guidance on business intelligence tools, techniques, and processes
Participate in industry, COE, and discipline-relevant groups or panels to keep abreast of trends and share best practices
May telecommute

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field followed by 6 years of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation; alternatively, a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
