About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the bank's Business Change Management program
  • Establish governance and oversight of changes
  • Identify and engage stakeholders
  • Evaluate risk and mitigating activities
  • Monitor changes post-launch
  • Complete day-to-day monitoring and pipeline management activities
  • Support the creation and delivery of program guidance
  • Contribute to overall process effectiveness
  • Participate in or lead cross-functional teams of Change Management and readiness resources
  • Understand, plan, manage and sustain change to ensure client success
  • Guide work performed by Change Management and partner resources assigned to specific change efforts
  • Identify integration points and impacted audiences
  • Assess the impact of changes
  • Create change management strategies, including sustainment plans
  • Consult on implementation of change plans and adjust for resistance and acceptance
  • Develop change strategies and conduct change impact and readiness assessments
  • Develop and execute change management activities supporting organizational transition
  • Coach and influence executive business owners in a highly matrixed organization
  • Mentor more junior change partners
  • Identify, measure, monitor and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years of directly related experience, including organizational change management, communication, organizational development, marketing, human resources and/or project delivery and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects
  • At least 2 years of change management experience
  • If Advanced Degree, 4 years of related experience, including at least 2 years of change management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and/or change management function/discipline
  • Demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities toward work products
  • Experience partnering for client's success
  • Organizational savvy and politics
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Experience overcoming resistance to change
  • Experience coaching/influencing leaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop communications materials for multiple audiences
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, delivery and principles
  • Working knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements
  • 3+ years of experience supporting and/or executing a bank's change management program is preferred
  • Experience supporting and evaluating risk management expectations outlined within OCC Bulletin 2017-43
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key program stakeholders
  • Ability to lead through influence, proactively identify change risks and opportunities, and drive outcomes
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
