About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate complex business needs into actionable product requirements
- Lead product planning activities and gather, refine, accept and prioritize stories and features
- Own and maintain prioritized backlogs for one or more Agile teams
- Define complete, consumable and testable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Review and accept IT and/or business development output
- Represent the business and customers throughout the product delivery cycle
- Collaborate with UX partners, designers, business analysts, developers and testers
- Align development, execution and releases with product and program roadmaps
- Facilitate and document business processes with sponsors, stakeholders and IT
- Prepare the business for change and provide benefits, adoption and risk metrics
- Oversee development, testing and controls across internal and external technologies
- Identify opportunities to enhance and improve the function
- Coach and mentor other Product Owners
- Lead development across multiple teams at project or program level
- Ensure business risks are identified, measured, monitored and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 6 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or directly related supported business operations/product line
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, applicable databases and product management tools
- Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and SAFe software delivery methodologies
- Advanced experience analyzing business requirements, process flows and use cases
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of Process Engineering methodologies
- Advanced ability to gather business requirements, process flows and use cases, write user stories, and follow development through user story acceptance
- 3+ years supporting or delivering Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) technology solutions
- 2+ years working on ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, or technology initiatives
- 8+ years working in Agile and/or SAFe environments
- Experience with Jira, Clarity, or other project and portfolio management tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including executive reporting and presentations
- Experience collecting and analyzing business data
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead through complex organizational challenges
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and large audiences
- Proven leadership skills driving results across multiple teams
