About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate discovery, delivery, and performance of digital and technology products and experiences for USAA and its members
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to solve complex problems and optimize customer experiences
  • Design and drive implementation of multi-platform technology and digital solutions
  • Optimize existing products and experiences across delivery channels and platforms to drive KPIs and KRIs
  • Apply User Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies to bring digital and technology products to market
  • Develop product strategy, vision, and goals, and justify decisions regarding innovation types and investments
  • Use research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities and improve performance
  • Translate product and experience opportunities into initiatives, requirements, epics, and features, and drive execution strategy
  • Shepherd complex opportunities from idea through market validation with business, UX, technology, operations, marketing, and other stakeholders
  • Lead business case artifacts and hypotheses for scoping and prioritization
  • Analyze and report product and experience performance against KPIs and KRIs
  • Generate insights using varied tools and resources to identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional product teams and coordinate development aligned with strategic priorities
  • Prepare presentations and communications for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Conduct internal and external research and situational analysis to apply industry best practices and trends
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of business, technology, UX, and relevant processes
  • Serve as a resource to team members and assist with onboarding
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years Digital/Technology Product Management experience, including experience in Strategy/Planning, Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, and/or Research/Testing
  • Ability to effectively develop, influence, present and communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams, non-technical users, and leadership
  • Ability to work in an Agile, Lean Product Development and Lean Portfolio Management environment
  • Knowledge of digital and technology strategy and delivery, including roadmap development, journey mapping, competitive analysis and research, and situation analysis methods
  • Knowledge of Experience Design and Human Centered Design concepts
  • Experience with the MSR Desktop contact center tool
  • Experience in large-scale rollout of new, migrated, or enhanced tools and/or services
  • 2 or more years in a product/program experience delivering complex processes, including scoping, planning, and stakeholder communication
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Mural, Figma, Rally, or Clarity
  • Advanced-level digital acumen, including knowledge of digital trends
  • Human-centered design experience across different personas, members, and non-members, with ability to integrate simple and action-oriented content
  • US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support now or in the future; USAA does not provide visa sponsorship
