About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate discovery, delivery, and performance of digital and technology products and experiences for USAA and its members
  • Collaborate with technology, architecture, experience, information security, fraud, and product teams
  • Design and drive implementation of multi-platform technology and digital solutions
  • Optimize existing products and experiences across delivery channels and platforms to improve KPIs and KRIs
  • Employ User Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies
  • Develop product strategy, vision, and goals
  • Leverage research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities and propose solutions
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps and improve performance
  • Translate product and experience opportunities into initiatives, requirements, epics, and features
  • Shepherd complex opportunities from ideation through market validation
  • Lead business case artifacts and hypotheses for scoping and prioritization
  • Analyze and report product and experience performance against KPIs and KRIs
  • Generate insights to inform product and experience improvements
  • Lead cross-functional product teams and coordinate product development aligned with strategic priorities
  • Prepare presentations and communications for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Conduct internal and external research and situational analysis
  • Apply industry best practices and trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years Digital/Technology Product Management experience, including Digital/Technology experience in Strategy/Planning, Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, and/or Research/Testing
  • Ability to effectively develop, influence, present, and communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams, non-technical users, and leadership
  • Ability to work in an Agile, Lean Product Development, and Lean Portfolio Management environment
  • Knowledge of digital and technology strategy and delivery related to roadmap development, journey mapping, competitive analysis and research, and situation analysis methods
  • Knowledge of Experience Design concepts and Human Centered Design concepts
  • Experience maintaining or managing authentication, credential, identity verification, or recovery experiences for call centers, websites, and mobile apps
  • Familiarity with authentication and identity management industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory considerations
  • Experience managing models supporting authentication and identity management or fraud impacts
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention, security requirements, data and analytics, and solution scalability
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle of digital products
  • Ability to rapidly assess and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to bridge technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Current or prior operational experience in Security Specialist (MSAS), Authentication Consult, Profile Recovery, Complaints, or Fraud Operations
  • US military experience gained through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
