Key responsibilities & impact
  • Solve complex business challenges through financial forecasting, planning, and modeling
  • Analyze key financial areas within USAA's technology organization
  • Mentor team members on advanced financial analysis and complex financial processes
  • Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls
  • Lead delivery of financial forecasts and plans for a business area or function
  • Guide team members and oversee forecasting/planning process and model improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and guide the team on complex financial reports, analyses, and cost-benefit analyses
  • Provide insights for internal and external management decision-making
  • Interpret complex financial information and recommend actions to business leaders
  • Implement solutions to financial and operational opportunities
  • Deliver value-added business decision support to customers and business partners
  • Lead product assignments, product pricing, product profitability, and ad hoc analysis
  • Provide proactive analysis and business insights to support effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization
  • Interact with senior management and company leadership
  • Guide the team and promote innovation and productivity
  • Apply advanced knowledge of the business, products, and processes
  • Serve as a resource on escalated issues
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years of experience conducting complex analysis and providing actionable insights to various stakeholders
  • Experience using databases and applications to analyze complex business domains, such as AI/GenAI, data centers, cloud, or cyber
  • Experience communicating key business and financial concepts that result in strategic decision-making
  • Veteran or military-affiliated professional experience in Cyber Command, DISA, Pentagon operations, acquisition programs, or technology modernization initiatives is a differentiator
  • Veteran, DoD, or defense contractor experience in cyber, procurement, logistics, acquisition, technology integration, or AI-related programs, combined with strong financial analytics, business partnering, and executive communication skills is a differentiator
  • Experience presenting recommendations to senior leaders or directors is a differentiator
  • Experience supporting large technology organizations and complex investment portfolios is highly preferred
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
