About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical governance for cloud infrastructure, platform services, infrastructure as code, containers, and automated deployment pipelines
  • Work with cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, application, security, and operations teams
  • Provide governance, risk oversight, and release coordination for enterprise network infrastructure
  • Assess, coordinate, test, and implement network changes with minimal impact to business operations and technology services
  • Facilitate complex or large IT change requests and review, audit, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Determine the appropriate rigor level based on technical complexity and potential change impact
  • Identify and resolve quality issues contributing to IT service delivery problems
  • Partner with SMEs to improve, synchronize, automate, and integrate process controls with other ITIL disciplines
  • Apply, anticipate, mitigate, and resolve process-control interactions
  • Assist with internal and external reviews of configuration management operations
  • Serve as an escalation point for junior team members
  • Escalate issues for proactive stakeholder communication and guide resolution
  • Consult on IT change and release management tools, processes, and artifacts
  • Influence relationships among IT Change and Release roles, customers, and ITIL disciplines
  • Lead medium- to large-scale implementations
  • Ensure business-activity risks are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
  • 6 years of IT change management, cloud engineering, DevOps, release management, platform engineering, or technical project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL, cloud operations, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, and deployment automation
  • Demonstrated experience implementing risk-based controls within automated delivery environments
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud operations, DevOps delivery, deployment automation, and change governance
  • Ability to evaluate pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud dependencies, evidence, and recovery strategies
  • Demonstrated experience balancing delivery speed with risk-based governance and control requirements
  • Advanced facilitation, technical communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of cloud operational risk, security controls, resiliency, and compliance
  • ITIL 4, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or relevant automation certification
  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Experience with container orchestration, site reliability engineering, policy as code, or GitOps
  • Experience designing automated change evidence, approvals, risk checks, or deployment controls
  • Must not require immigration support or visa sponsorship now or in the future
