About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the commercial relationship with a large portfolio of around 700 Cookiebot by Usercentrics customers
  • Focus on customer retention by using data to identify customers at risk of churning or downsizing
  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of Cookiebot accounts
  • Monitor account activity and data to identify churn and downsell risks, including domain usage changes, downgrades, and domain deletions
  • Proactively contact at-risk customers to understand their situation and prevent cancellations or downsells
  • Develop and execute standardized save strategies and playbooks at scale
  • Handle cancellation and downgrade requests commercially and present suitable alternatives
  • Reach out to recently churned customers with win-back offers where appropriate
  • Own the renewal process for annual subscribers
  • Manage contracting and commercial discussions for annual renewals
  • Monitor monthly subscribers and conduct targeted outreach when risk signals appear
  • Position plan changes or additional products when appropriate to prevent downsell or churn
  • Review account health indicators, including domain usage, upgrades, downsells, and domain deletions
  • Maintain accurate account notes, risk flags, and activity records in Salesforce
  • Report on retention trends and share insights into customer churn and downgrades
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Billing, and Product
  • Direct technical and support-related inquiries to appropriate support channels
  • Measure success through gross revenue retention, churn and downsell rate, ARR saved, and annual renewal rate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales
  • Experience ideally within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience in retention, renewals, or managing a high-volume portfolio is a plus
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in relevant tools and technologies
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
  • Comfort working with usage and account data to spot trends
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify why customers are at risk and provide tailored solutions or alternatives
  • Confidence in save conversations and commercial negotiation
  • Ability to handle objections and recognize when an upsell or plan change is appropriate
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio efficiently and prioritize accounts by risk and revenue impact
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Support
