About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit new community partners
- Maintain engagement with current community partners
- Coordinate the student field placement process with the Director of Field Education
- Provide instruction in both the BSW and MSW programs
- Contribute to School service needs, including admissions and advising
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSW from a CSWE-accredited social work program
- Teaching experience in social work higher education (preferred)
- Administrative experience in social work, education and/or leadership in a human service agency (preferred)
- Two years of full-time or the equivalent of part-time post-graduate social work practice experience (preferred)
- Experience in field education, including creating and developing community partnerships, coordinating student placements, and providing oversight of students throughout the field placement process (preferred)
- Face-to-face and online teaching experience in social work education (preferred)
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks (preferred)
- Experience with competency-based standards (preferred)
- Supervisory experience with students or staff (preferred)
- Social work state licensure in any state; State of Florida preferred (preferred)
- Cover letter required
