About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee implementation of a federally funded substance use research program across multiple locations
  • Review grants/contracts and develop project plans defining resources, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
  • Develop project schedules and plans to ensure timely completion
  • Obtain management and client agreement on project plans and timelines
  • Identify obstacles and resource needs affecting project completion
  • Assemble project teams, identify competencies, and assign resources to tasks
  • Define and disseminate project-status communication methods
  • Communicate project goals, monitor progress, and adjust resources
  • Apply project management tools and tracking systems
  • Develop operational policies, resource documents, training documents, and best-practice documentation
  • Analyze client needs, evaluate solutions, develop specifications and requirements, and define operations, tools, and training
  • Design integrated solutions including tools, training, reports, queries, applications, databases, data-capture forms, web pages, and related systems
  • Structure, implement, and maintain operational standards
  • Establish policies, standards, and procedures for accessible project status
  • Coordinate protocol implementation, clinical workflows, electronic health-record order sets, clinical-staff training, research personnel supervision, study documents, budgets, and project milestones
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a field directly related to the program responsibilities and two years of professional experience; or Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
  • Employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
  • Strong organizational, communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills (preferred)
  • Experience in substance use disorder research, behavioral health, emergency medicine, clinical research, or healthcare operations (preferred)
  • May be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check
